Whilst lots takes place through the week at St. Michael’s, a focus of our life together are our acts of worship. Our main services take place on a Sunday but we also have acts of worship throughout the week.
This is a quiet reflective service of Holy Communion. The service is from Common Worship Order One and doesnt include hymns or music. The service lasts around 45 minutes.
On the 3rd Sunday of the month the service is a BCP Communion Service.
On the 1st Sunday of the month we share breakfast together following the service.
This is a full Communion Service with hymns and a family feel. The service lasts just over an hour. We are currently working to develop more children’s provision as part of this service.
On the 3rd Sunday of the month we hold our monthly ALL IN service where we provide space for people to be more creative in our worship.
On the 4th Sunday of the month we hold our baptism services.
There are refreshments served in the Parish Centre following this service.
Every Wednesday at 10.30am we hold our midweek communion service. This is a simple quiet service without hymns, and usually lasts about 50 minutes. Refreshments are served in the lounge following this service. On occasion this service will be cancelled due to an evening service taking place during the same week. This is advertised by our weekly notice sheet - St Michaels Today
Each day there is a short service of Morning Prayer that takes place in the Prayer Corner in church. This act of prayer lasts no longer that 30 minutes and is a great way to start the day.
On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays this takes place at 9am
On Wednesdays, this takes place at 9.30am
