Children’s Ministry

We have a number of ministries for children at St Michaels. It is our hope that through these ministries, children will experience community, feel valued and welcomed and will grow in love for God and in his love for them.

Our children’s ministry is led by our Children’s Worker, Jenny Gallimore who leads a team of volunteers.

Sundays at 10am:

Juniors, Explorers & Tribe

On Sundays, children begin in the main service, then head out to their group for age-appropriate worship, Bible teaching, discussion, and activities — full of fun, warmth, and faith.

Juniors (0–3)

A calm, welcoming space for our youngest children and their grown-ups — with toys, simple activities, and room to settle in.

Explorers (4–8)

A lively group where children explore the Bible through stories, games, creativity, and prayer — helping them grow in faith and build brilliant friendships.

Tribe (9–14)

A safe and supportive community where young people can explore faith together, ask big questions, and grow in identity and confidence as young followers of Jesus.

New to church? You and your children are very welcome. If you’d like to know what to expect, just get in touch and we’ll happily help.

Active Angels has been a key part of the ministry and care given to the children and households of Bramhall for many years. Active Angels a space where all are welcome and where we can collaboratively grow and develop together.

Active Angels takes place on Tuesday mornings during term time from 10am to 11.30am

For children between the ages of 0 to 5, and the grown ups who come with them, Active Angels hosts play, crafts and refreshments concluding with sing-along time and community notices.

No need to book a place,
