Children & Families
Children and young people are an important part of life at Bramhall Parish Church. Whether your family comes every week, you are visiting for the first time, or you are simply wondering whether church might be for you, you are very welcome.
Our children’s and young people’s groups meet during the 10am Sunday service, and there are other opportunities for families to be part of church life during the week.
Sundays at 10am
Our children’s and young people’s ministry takes place during the 10am Sunday service, with different groups for different ages.
Families begin worship together in church before children and young people head to their groups. They return to church later in the service. If your child would rather stay with you throughout the service, that is absolutely fine too.
Our Sunday Groups
Juniors (0–3)
A calm, welcoming space for our youngest children and their grown-ups — with toys, simple activities, and room to settle in.
Explorers (4–8)
A lively group where children explore the Bible through stories, games, creativity, and prayer — helping them grow in faith and build brilliant friendships.
Tribe (9–14)
A safe and supportive community where young people can explore faith together, ask big questions, and grow in identity and confidence as young followers of Jesus.
What to Expect
Coming somewhere new with children can feel like there is a lot to work out. We want it to be as straightforward as possible.
When you arrive
Someone can show you where the children’s groups meet and help you with anything you need to know.
During the service
Children begin in church with everyone else before heading to their groups. Parents and carers remain responsible for deciding whether their child joins a group.
Safeguarding
Our children’s ministry is led by appropriately recruited and trained volunteers in line with our safeguarding procedures.
Active Angels
Our toddler group for babies, preschool children and the grown-ups who care for them.
Active Angels is a friendly and relaxed place to play, make things, enjoy refreshments and meet other local families. There are toys and activities for children, usually including a simple craft, with snacks and drinks available during the session.
