New Here?

If you’re thinking about coming to Bramhall Parish Church for the first time, you are very welcome. Whether church is completely new to you, you haven’t been for years, or you’re simply looking for a new church community, we hope you’ll feel at home here.

You don’t need to contact us before coming — you can simply turn up.

What happens each week?

Come through the main church doors and our welcome team will be around if you need any help. You can sit wherever you like, and the service will guide you through what is happening.

At different points people may stand, sit, sing, pray or come forward for Communion, but you are always welcome simply to remain where you are and watch or listen.

We won’t ask visitors to stand up, introduce themselves or do anything publicly.

Coming to a church for the first time can feel slightly daunting, particularly if you’re not sure what is going to happen. There really isn’t anything you need to know in advance.

Worship on Sundays

We worship in different ways through the day and through the month, so there isn’t just one kind of Sunday at Bramhall Parish Church.

8am Service

A quieter service without hymns, usually lasting around 40 minutes.

Our largest service on a Sunday which includes hymns, children’s groups and refreshments afterwards.

10am Service

A more informal gathering with worship, teaching and prayer. The format varies from week to week.

6.30pm Service

Coming with Children?

Children and young people are very much part of church life here — noise, movement and questions included.

At our 10am service there are groups and activities for different ages, and children are also completely welcome to remain in church with you.

We know arriving somewhere unfamiliar with children can make a first visit feel like a bigger step, so if you want to know what will be happening on a particular Sunday, you’re very welcome to get in touch beforehand.

There is step free access into the church building from our car park entrance by going through the glass doors.

A Church for Bramhall

We are a Church of England parish church seeking to put Jesus at the heart of our life together and at the heart of our community.

We want to be a place where people can belong, explore faith, grow as disciples and serve others — whatever their age, background or previous experience of church.
