As Advent approaches we are inviting people to contribute to our daily reflections for the Advent Season. These are to be placed on our website for all to share.

We all have our own distinctive devotional voice, and our community would benefit greatly from hearing yours. Advent is such a warm, important season.

As you will see, a Bible passage has been assigned for each day. Please select one that speaks to you.

How does your elected passage speak to you of comfort or joy? It may be the whole passage or simply one verse that you find so powerful. What does it make you think or feel? Does it relate to a story from your own life? What would you like people to take away with them from the passage? Around 800 words is traditional, but this is only a guideline, it’s up to you.

If you can let me know which day you have chosen before you begin your writing, I will get back to you to confirm. Please send your reflection to me at least four or five days in advance of the date, that would be really helpful.
